The Inland Orange Conservancy is needing to know when the race will be held in 2012 – they held it on the same weekend as the classic this year and don’t want to do that again next year.
Thanks! Cid Breyer

Where can I find the results from the USCF criteriums on sunday? Thank you.

Website is a step up… but surprised that it’s been 24 hours and you have no results.

You’re missing an opportunity to capitalize on the race and this website. No results for Stage 1 and it’s Saturday. No results available to Cyclingnews or Velonews?

First let me say that this is all impossible without the work of volunteers. I thank all who participate to make this happen, and I hope I can join you again. This is what I am proud of as a Redlandser.
With most respect I hope to convey this to the orginazation.I would dearly like to see up-to-date website posting in regards to standings. Heck, velonews has a few lines about what’s going on, and cyclingnews.com has the best beat on it of all. They have a report, and actual standings. This site may have “the top 10 spectator spots”, but when are they happening, and for what race? If your don’t have a local newspaper, it’s a bit of a mystery id’nt it:/
Cheers RBC!

I must say I’m suddenly glad I won’t be the only first-time racer in the men’s 35-44 event! Looking forward to riding with you all!

re:1sttimeracer, I will make a last minute decision if I really want to race. If I do…I’ll try at least to not get lapped and just have fun with it

Hello All. I signed up for the 35-44 male public fun ride. I’m just wondering if this is actually a fun ride or a race. If a race, what would be the estimated average speed for above group? I’ve never race before nor do I think I could sustain a very high speed for 7 miles (20+ mph), maybe around 17-18 mph on flat … please advice if I should even try. Thanks.

Raul Alcala is racing this year. He was in the first edition with a mexican team. And back with the 7-eleven team in 1986. This was his first race as a professional with the 7-11. It’s going to be exciting to see him race again here!!!

On behalf of the Redlands Bicycle Classic Board of Trustees, welcome to the 2011 version of our website. Special thanks to Matt and our friends at Whitefrog for taking our website to the next level.
The Redlands Bicycle Classic has a rich history of putting on a world class cycling event and this year, the 27th year of the Classic, will be no exception. Our “All Volunteer” Organizing Committee has been working very hard to make this year’s event happen. We are very thankful for the generosity of all our volunteers and sponsors. Without them we would not be able to have this important cycling and community event. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering or sponsorship.
Over the years, the Redlands Bicycle Classic has become far more than just a bike race. It is a well established tradition that brings the Inland Empire communities and the professional and amateur cycling communities together in a healthy and family oriented environment. We are looking forward to once again have competitors of all abilities, ranging from world class athletes to youngsters on tricycles, with fans of all ages energetically cheering on their favorite riders.
We hope to see you out on your bike, enjoying the festival and cheering on your favorite riders.
Sincerely,
Daniel J. Rendler

I’ve been a race marshal in the past few years wearing an orange shirt, helping to direct traffic and keep everyone safe. I think that this is a great event and an opportunity for our city to be hosts for a national event. It’s just a blast to see the races downtown!
